1-year-old child suffers from Hemangioma Labia and Congenital Hydrocephalus causing her to have a bout of seizures on a daily basis

Congenital Hydrocephalus is a rare condition wherein the mental and physical well-being of a baby is damaged. Finding the condition early and treating it quickly can help limit any long-term problems. But long-term effects mostly depend on what caused the fluid buildup, how bad it gets, and how the baby responds to treatment.

Hemangioma is the most common benign tumor of infancy and childhood. It has been reported that 10% of all children are diagnosed with a benign vascular tumor during the first year of life. 70% of hemangiomas occur on the head and neck. The remaining 30% can occur anywhere on the body either internal or externally. One of the most complicated areas a hemangioma can develop in is the urogenital area or anogenital area. These lesions commonly called diaper area hemangiomas are associated with pain, bleeding, recurring infection and ulceration.

 

In the Philippines and other 3rd world countries, it is especially expensive to treat these kinds of health problems. Though Hemangiomas often disappear while children age, the possibility of acquiring many other diseases and infections because of it is very high. 1-year-old JIAN GEORGY B.BULAN is suffering from both cases. Her family cannot afford to bring her to the hospital for they know that they will not be able to come up with the money to pay for the hospital bills.
