There have been many recent cases wherein foreigners are found begging for food and money in the streets of Manila. Most of them do not want their pictures taken, or their stories told for reasons we don’t know about. Some would respect their choice, but some people merely want to help them.

Left with no money and nothing but the shirt on his back, this Italian national begs for food and money so that he can survive this life of poverty. When the passerby asked if he wanted his picture taken and posted on the different social media sites, he refused and said that he didn’t want to. Still, the passerby wanted to help the man without his knowledge after he saw how the Italian struggled in his everyday life. Unfortunately, he said that he does not know his name.

Caught on CCTV: Group of snatchers including a senior citizen victimize a shopper with a new modus operandi

The increasing number of robbery-related crimes is jeopardizing the safety of many citizens across the country. With every ‘new’ modus a group of criminals comes up with, more and more victims are caught off-guard. Especially on holidays and weekends, many of us tend to shop and bring large amounts of money in our hand-carried bags. Be sure to keep your valuables hidden from these people.
CCTV footage showed a woman lining up for the food counter in a mall. As she was checking the food out, 4 people started to get close to her, covering up the “main suspect” who will be the one to snatch from the victim.  As two women used their shopping baskets to cover the victim, the old man had his back to the victim as well, to keep the crime from prying eyes.
The group was successful, but two of the suspects were apprehended soon after. Unfortunately, they were released just after a day because no victim came forward to file a case against them. Hopefully, this news clip and article would serve as a warning to the many citizens who love to go out and shop on holidays and weekends. Keep safe everyone!

Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather
May 2, 2015; Las Vegas, NV USA; Manny Pacquiao (yellow/red trunks) waves to the crowd after being defeated by Floyd Mayweather (not picutred) during their world welterweight championship bout at MGM in Garden Arena. Mayweather won via unanonimous desicion.

"I thought I won the fight."

That was how Manny Pacquiao reacted after his unanimous decision defeat to Floyd Mayweather on Saturday (Sunday PHL time).

As expected, Pacquiao was the more aggressive fighter during the fight, stalking Mayweather outside the ring. But it was Mayweather's accurate counterpunching that earned the nod of the judges, who scored the fight 118-110, 116-112, and 116-112 for the American fighter.

"It was a good fight," said Pacquiao. "I thought I won the fight. He didn't do anything."

Though Pacquiao repeatedly forced Mayweather to backpedal, the wily American blunted his opponent's best efforts by using his renowned defensive skills while getting in several telling jabs and punches of his own.

The showdown between the two best boxers of their generation, dubbed the 'Fight of the Century', had been more than five years in the making and is expected to be the biggest-grossing prize bout of all time.

Still the undefeated pound-for-pound king.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., overcame Manny Pacquiao via unanimous decision and unified the WBO, WBC, and WBA Welterweight titles in the match of their generation’s greatest boxers Sunday (Manila time) at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

It took almost six years for the fight to become official and it was Mayweather  who walked out of the ring as the victor in the boxing’s most hyped fight.

Solar Sports is going to broadcast the fight (live) on May 3 as we cannot understand their language but they are showing a commercial of the fight and even having it as a headline in their news program.

Solar Sports hosted previous fights of Pacquiao, Donaire, and other big fights before so we are hopeful that they will also have it on May 3

Mayweather and Pacquiao were polite and deferential as they took the stage together at the Nokia Theatre in downtown on Los Angeles on Wednesday, facing off for the first time. After a half-decade of negotiations and false starts, Mayweather and Pacquiao will meet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 2 ~Bookmark Now
I am not in the business of pretending fighters are perfect. Both men have significant areas of lesser strength and it is worth considering how they match up. For Pacquiao, it is not only concerning how often he takes a punch to land his flurries, and as he steps out after them, it is worrying how easily he is tied up. Mayweather is notorious for what I call “fighting in the grey areas”. You could call it fouling, but that turns it into a moral debate and an argument about what you think of the man rather than a discussion the legitimate threat of these skilfully administered techniques. Firstly, Mayweather will constantly dive for the opponent's hips after a blow or as they step in. Against Ricky Hatton, Mayweather retreated and used a right hand into a weave for Hatton's hips to land a heavy blow and then immediately tie the brawler up. Once Hatton started using his hands to fight off the clinch attempts, Mayweather would batter him with punches again. When the opponent wants to punch, Mayweather will clinch. When the opponent tries to push him off, Mayweather will get back to punching.
