1-year-old child suffers from Hemangioma Labia and Congenital Hydrocephalus causing her to have a bout of seizures on a daily basis

Congenital Hydrocephalus is a rare condition wherein the mental and physical well-being of a baby is damaged. Finding the condition early and treating it quickly can help limit any long-term problems. But long-term effects mostly depend on what caused the fluid buildup, how bad it gets, and how the baby responds to treatment.

Hemangioma is the most common benign tumor of infancy and childhood. It has been reported that 10% of all children are diagnosed with a benign vascular tumor during the first year of life. 70% of hemangiomas occur on the head and neck. The remaining 30% can occur anywhere on the body either internal or externally. One of the most complicated areas a hemangioma can develop in is the urogenital area or anogenital area. These lesions commonly called diaper area hemangiomas are associated with pain, bleeding, recurring infection and ulceration.

 

In the Philippines and other 3rd world countries, it is especially expensive to treat these kinds of health problems. Though Hemangiomas often disappear while children age, the possibility of acquiring many other diseases and infections because of it is very high. 1-year-old JIAN GEORGY B.BULAN is suffering from both cases. Her family cannot afford to bring her to the hospital for they know that they will not be able to come up with the money to pay for the hospital bills. Her mother is now calling for help from netizens across the country, to help them at least get a good doctor and have their daughter checked:

OFW’s box opened with valuables stolen inside airport; customs claim a bomb was inside

 

Filipino families are very large in numbers, and when it comes to bringing home things for their loved ones, so it sometimes takes years for overseas workers to save up before going home. Imagine when you finally arrive, then all the things you worked for and brought home gets stolen? That was what happened to one unfortunate OFW who lost more than he could afford. My sister-in-law was the only left at the arrival area, she was looking for my box and there was nothing–it was because its contents were already being stolen before it was released. They even claimed that the only reason they opened the box was because there was a bomb inside. Do you guys believe that a bomb was able to avoid detection from Kuwait to the Philippines? This happened when my sister-in-law flew via Cebu Pacific this april 12/15. As you can see in the pictures, my sister-in-law was able to take photos wherein it was very clear that my box was opened by the staff. I lost some valuable items including an iPad and some perfumes. Please share this guys, to teach the staff at the airport a lesson. They are very disrespectful!

A young boy carries his 5-month-old sibling while begging for food and money for them to survive every day

 

Many children are left alone in the streets to beg for their own survival. Some parents are unemployed and could no longer afford to raise their children. The only option left for these children is to beg for food, money, or any help any passerby could give. Unfortunately for Loloy, he was left alone with his 5-month-old sibling. 

 

Loloy and his sibling has been living in the Laloma cemetery for quite some time already. They have been travelling every day, begging for food and money from in the jeep they ride on. The baby, in his early stages of life, is forced to eat rice instead of milk because they could not afford to buy some. When some passengers in the jeep saw their condition, they offered to give them milk that could last for at least a week, and deposited extra cash to the store where Loloy could return once the milk runs out. The passengers who gave help to Loloy wishes to ask for more help from other people, and so their Facebook post read:

Rough translation:

While we were on our way to Novaliches coming from La Loma, we came across this boy named Loloy. He was travelling with his 5-month-old sibling (a very small baby, who lacked in vitamins and was malnourished). While I was looking at the baby, I couldn’t help but cry as my heart was crushed. We asked them to come with us. When we got off, we looked for a store to buy a feeding bottle and some milk. According to Loloy, the last time the baby ate was the day before, and it was some leftover rice and some dishes given to them. The baby finished one bottle in just 5 minutes after we were able to ask for some warm water from the store. We bought 3 packs of milk which was probably enough for a week. We deposited some money to the store so that Loloy could return once the milk runs out and get the milk we left there. I hope somebody could give them more even just enough for a month.
